The presentation highlighted the innovative use of virtual platforms in enhancing pediatric nursing education and improving nursing competencies.

Mrs. Christiana Nicolaou showcased the project’s aim to foster deeper understanding and skills in pediatric nursing, through immersive virtual experiences, with the development of the Virtual Reality Learning Environment (VRLE), a virtual children’s hospital designed to support pediatric nursing learning in areas such as neonatal care, safe medication administration in children, pediatric respiratory diseases, and child-centered care.

Additionally, Mrs. Nicolaou demonstrated how the virtual children’s hospital will facilitate international collaboration among students and educators.
